At Complete Performance Systems we understand the complexity that is coaching high school athletics. Many coaches have full time jobs outside of the sport. Juggling work, sports and family life are daunting tasks. The strength and conditioning and sports performance side of athletics are also full time jobs. Many high schools lack the resources to offer these services full time. Complete Performance Systems high school consulting offers schools and sports programs the opportunity to leverage our experience in strength and conditioning, sports performance and coaching to your program in one system.
Athlete Management & Programming
Complete Performance Systems coaching allows for categorization and tracking of primary, secondary and tertiary athletic movements. Athletes are able to report on readiness to perform & return to sport markers by logging Sleep, Hydration, Soreness, Stress and Energy Level as well as compile training data on injuries, exercise duration and the sessions relative perceived exertion. These trackable items and athlete feedback allow CPS coaches to make informed decisions based on total sessional load, perceived training monotony, training strain and acute to chronic training ratio.
In our coaching dashboard we are able to map out the yearly calendar and auto-calculate how far out athletes are from competitions, meets, games, playoffs & etc.. Understanding timelines helps our coaches customize training phases for specific adaptations required of the sport. The athlete management system paints a picture that allows for visualization training volume and intensity periodization. With the data we receive from training blocks and athlete feedback we track peak volume. Understanding volume tiers for each athlete helps our coaches visualize at what volume levels athletes may see decreases in performance, possible injury as well as understand what baseline is for returning to sport.
